Few common eye therapies in Ayurveda are-
Sekam- Pouring a very fine stream of medicated liquid over the closed eyes.
Aschotana- Instillation of medicated eye drops.
Anjanam- Application of medicines to the internal surface of the lid margin in the form of paste/collyrium.
Pindi- Patching of closed eyes with medicated pastes.
Bidalaka- Application of medicated pastes to the outer surfaces of the eye lids.
Tarpana/Putapaka- The dough ring prepared out of black gram is applied around the eyeball and medicated ghee/liquid is poured into the cavity.
